A 28-year-old taxi driver assaulted an application driver and attempted to steal his mobile phone in the city of La Plata. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday in the Meridiano V area, where the police quickly identified the aggressor, detaining him and seizing his vehicle.
The police are unaware of the reasons that led to the fight, but the victim pointed out the location of the aggressor to the officers, who was near his stopped taxi. The officials proceeded to capture the young man and confiscate his white and green Chevrolet Corsa Classic, used at the time of the attack.
The suspect was taken to the police station to carry out the necessary procedures. The case was classified as "attempted robbery and minor injuries" and remained under the jurisdiction of UFI No. 6 of the Judicial Department of La Plata. The accused will remain in custody until his initial appearance before the court.
